I've seen a couple of dirt "paths" like this one in the Hearthlands - that are perma-dirt, and not acre clay. Are they natural? (They appear to be, on account of the natural fords.) Can they be made? How? If they are natural, what are they supposed to represent?

Is there a hotkey for easily putting materials into stockpiles? Shift-Lclick doesn't seem to work. I hate individually moving each log it takes forever.
Spooky.

I have wonder this one myself. The best explain we can come up with at my village is that they will be dried up rivers.

Click item to stockpile onto cursor -> shift + right click stockpile. This is placing all items in inventory that will go to the stockpile into it.
Also you can click item to stockpile onto cursor -> right click ground for stockpile ghost -> shift + left click placing to place stockpile and all items that can go into it into it all at once.

Shift+scroll up and down (with the mousewheel) allow you to add/remove from the stockpiles easily (though I can never remember which one is which.

If it's the same thing as in Salem, and from what I've seen they are, those are animal trails. There's a higher chance for animals spawning near them.

I got Locks & Bolts but I can't make keys, only locks. What do I need to discover?

You need to discover master key. To do this you will need to place at least a single lock.

Or somebody who put a lock can teach you simply by right clicking you with the master key.

Do palisades have quality? (higher quality wood = more health or something)?
