Thank you madnomad.
Another question: how exactly does food satiation work? From my basic observations, it looks like whatever the percent is on a certain type of food is, you get that percent of the FEP from eating that type of food. But, how does that work when a food falls under two different categories? And how do you refill satiation?
tbh i could play this game for years and still be a noob

I think that to calculate amount of feps you need to multiply it by hunger level, then by satiation, so yeah when u have for example ravenous hunger level you multiply it by three and when your category of food satiation is at 90% then u multiply it again by 0,9.

do you mean these satiations described when u hold cursor over food? well, you have a chance to satiate food of other category if thats what you mean.

To refill food satiation you should drink wine, beer, tea and milk.

someone correct me if i explained wrong

Yes and no. Some pages have been updated to reflect Hafen values, other pages have not. It's a large work-in-progress..

Here's a forum thread that should help you out. viewtopic.php?f=42&t=42391

Do you have to discover the sketchbook to be able to do this? I cannot find the option and I didn't buy my sketchbook I came across it

Random thought I had while looking over the Heal page on the wiki...how can you get asphyxiation from running out of stamina while swimming? When you run out of stamina while swimming isn't that when your character drowns and dies? Or does the injury occur on your new character after you inherit from making a new character?

you do not die from running out of stamina while swimming. you get apshyxiation and if that gets to high you die.

I guess you must have to then, I wasn't aware of that beforehand as I did buy some. It may be possible to 'teach' it, I'm honestly not sure, but give it to your friend and have him try to right click it on you and see what happens. If it can be learnt then the option should appear. :)

I've never done any combat before, so I only have the basic moves, which I guess are all unarmed moves, so should I unequip my axe and fishing pole before trying to fight, or does it matter?

New moves called combat discoveries become available when fighting certain animals, some of these moves are obtained through melee combat such as 'shield up', 'cleave', 'sting' etc, once you are ready to tackle bats and above you will need to equip both a shield and a weapon in order to learn them. :)

Do animals die randomly? I've found two foxes (separate occasions) and just now found a horse lying dead with no other person around to have killed it..
