Those are Lynx Cats, they are tougher than foxes, run extremely fast, I would say on a toughness scale between Deer and Moose

I just found "Chalcopryte" mining. Is it an ore or a common stone?

(The wiki really needs to be updated)

http://ringofbrodgar.com/wiki/Ore should be up-to-date.

Simple way to check if the thing you mined is ore or stone is to see whether it makes stone or ore stockpile when placed.

The chair is what gives the bonus the tables themselves have no effect and I believe the throne has a better base FEP and hunger modifier bonus, at least according to the wiki.

Yeah those have caused quite a few problems with getting proper recipes since they were implemented. I'd suggest trying to butcher one by yourself.

Discovered sucking maw and vinegar myself, and also made myself a jar and I'm still unable to make rennet. What gives here? Is it that IO have to discover milk?

Try keeping a bucket of vinegar in one hand and an empty bucket in the other while working at the cauldron. I'm pretty sure I tried making it in a jar but it didn't work. Will check again right now xD

Edit: Jar still didn't work for me but bucket works fine.
