ok so i am new to the new HnH and i can't figure out how to teleport to my hearth fire and i can't find the crafting menu or the adventure menu

Press spacebar until they pop up in the lower right corner.

STR for Pali destruction

Ok if you make a mistake you can bash a palli with 10 str and hours to spare. I mean it would take awhile but its possible. HOWEVER, if you let the wall sit for 24 hours then you have to use siege equiptment in order to break it.

A freshly laid section of palisade doesn't take that long to break, even at 10 STR and only a stone axe to assist. You'll burn through a couple buckets of water, though. If making a mistake in the layout is worrisome, then use roundpole fences to mark your corners and such, or something else cheap to build and easy to remove.

What I usually do is plow my layout and then pave it. So that I can be sure of what my layout is and thus to avoid any mistakes.
Most of the time it's pretty useful.

Also; does the quality of the rope-walk matter in the making of rope?

As of yet, paved land isn't necessary in all locations to prevent structure decay. Just an FYI. ;)

No, the ropewalk does not factor into the final rope quality. (can't think of anything where rope quality matters, though.)
