So, how do I find myself on the world map? Someone said to use landmarks, but there's too much of everything. I feel like I've been looking at the map since I started playing trying to find where I'm at. xD Is there any easier way? I've walked around quite a bit so I'm sort of a way from where I spawned.

It's pretty easy if you find a mountain. Just follow a river until you see the elevation changing. Shouldn't take too long
