100% spruce did not come out quite the way I imagined.

That's honestly really cool in its own way.

Yeah, I thought so too .... and you'll never get lost coming home in the dark, so that's a bonus! :)

It's not the colors I dislike, it's the complete lack of any texture on it compared to other woods.

True! Although I might get lost looking for the door. Still, it's definitely growing on me.

Porphyry, Walnut Blocks, Planewood Boards, Straw and Tin.

I like it. Probably would look better if I went with a darker block, rather than walnut. Am finding the walnut blends too much with the porphyry.

But then, you see it at dawn, and whoa.

So, uh, I want to make a tower out of malachite and gold...
I understand for the malachite I basically have to make it 100% malachite so it looks totally green, but for the gold since there is only one metal slot, can i just use 6 bars of gold instead of 10?
Also if anyone could suggest a wood for this project that would be hugely appreciated.

I've heard somebody used 20 Gold Bars on great hall just to be sure, but in theory you just need gold to be most numerous type of bar you build in.

In Theory you can put in 1000 malachite and it will be all malachite if you mix rest of the stone so that there won't be more than 500 or 501 of any kind of stone other than malachite. For stone X to count as secondary stone, amount of X must be more than half of the primary stone.

OK, great. I just realised I'm not even sure what part of the tower the metal will even affect, tbh... The diagram on the wiki doesnt have metal on it :(
