Once you have moved and built your hf you can use the hearth magic 'Commune With Nature' to open up a quest in your new area.

Or just abandon all your current quests once you've moved and save the xp. After a little while (a few minutes?) you'll get a new quest.

2. The beginner quests have little markers pointing towards the NPC you have to talk to. I followed one for like 6 hours and then had to log out and eat. When I logged back in the pointer was pointing in the opposite direction. Since that time I have seen them change directions seemingly randomly even though I know for a fact its pointing in the wrong direction (I made a marker on my map). Question is.. Is there a way to update the pointer to make sure you are going the right way ?

to get to the camera mode that will point in the correct direction.

I'm thinking they have an options menu for it, but you can just use the console command ":cam bad".

You'll notice little orange buds on the plant in the next to last stage. They only last a few hours, though, and you don't get any seeds from the plant.
