Most custom clients have toggle Ctrl+Shift+I to enable tooltip showin terran type when holding Ctrl+Shift while hovering cursor into a terrain tile.

Biomes that Amanda showcased look like pinebarren and lichenworld. I can personally confirm that parasol Mushrooms indeed spawn on lichenworld.

I was just wondering what this placed called Svania was? Its marked as in my quest log and is telling me to go there. I do not know whats there and when i began to walk in the direction the marker told me to go, it seemed to be a very far distance. Is it worth my time going to, what can I expect there and how far is it? (I know relative distance is a hard question to answer, but who knows with this place)

It will be a quest giver, meaning a rock or a tree which you greet by clicking on the object once you arrive, you will then be given a quest to complete, on completion you will be rewarded, rewards can be Learning Points, Experience points, a Gilding leaf or Hunger reduction.

Scroll to the bottom of the page. :)

The first few quests are usually in pretty close proximity to your hf, they move further away the more you do. Personally I enjoy the quests from time to time, it gets you out and about and exploring is always fun in my eyes, the rewards get better as you complete more of the quests and they get harder. Go for the first one and then you will see what I mean. :D

@ Vatas, thanks for providing the extra info ^^ ... :)

While the skill is legacy only, the mapping information on the page is still the terminology used: http://ringofbrodgar.com/wiki/Legacy:Cartography

I have 4 chars on 4 accounts. Questions regarding feasting....

A) Does a bonfire help at very low levels (I just started)
B) Should all 4 sit at their own table with their own tableware or should I put 4 chairs around one table ?
C) Does it help if I do all their feasting at the same time ?

Sorry to quote my own question but I was hoping someone would know the answer as it is time for some feasting and I would rather do it the best way

Bonfires always help. I'm not sure they help a lot at low levels as you're potentially getting a level up with a single food item in some cases if you have low stats and high quality food. Just having symbel items on the table can be a bigger benefit than a bonfire

Each character needs their own table and chair.

I've not used the new mechanics, so don't quote me, and someone will likely correct me if I'm wrong, but no, just all need to be seated at the bonfire at the same time. Eat at your leisure.

Questions do sometimes get buried without an answer. Try to give it 24-48 hours before reposting if your question is missed.

According to wiki, a fresh-built palisade can be destroyed by hand for the first 3 days. During this time his soak value will slowly increase. However, the wiki article seems to be outdated.

A freshly built palisade's soak will increase slowly from zero to full over the course of three days.

After 24 hours they require higher strength or a ram to break.

Is this information correct? Does this mean that the pali's soak changes 3 times in total, once per day?

24 hours real live time = 3 days in game time.

Hey everyone. Is there a way to negate a hedgehogs quills aside from armor, for example by wearing gloves, or is the damage a just the unavoidable punishment for harming something so dangerously cute?
