Agree - the house setup on top of this is amazing.

This is my pretty homestead - or so I think.

1120 quartz (16 stacks exactly)
560 Basalt (8 stacks)
320 smelting bi-product(4.6 stacks)

I dunn goofed, intended to use spruce for blocks because the dark color stands out against the quartz, giving the windows and the door a more noticeable look. I don't know what I ended up doing, was tired when I finished building it and messed up.
The other wood was birch.

Now the door and windows don't really stand out, but I generally thing it turned out alright.

Does anyone know the portions of stone/blocks/boards in order to color the primary/secondary stone/wood colors for the village idol?

Thanks very much! I tried searching but after sifting through pages of hits I gave up.

Edit: Those numbers seem to be off a little.

1 bar of cast iron.
10 gneiss.
10 limestone.
5 block of oak.

The game dialogue wants 1 bar of any metal, 200 stone, 20 blocks, 20 boards for the vanity materials.

I'm assuming that if I put in say 125 marble, 75 bassalt that the large stones will be marble and the smaller stones will be basalt. The blocks I'll use all the same. I don't know that the boards offer any color to the scheme.

@Tapewormz
the recipe was changed.

themommawolf's post follows the new rules. secondary ingredient needs at least half of primary, so yes 125 marble and 75 basalt will work.
