Oh ok that looks scaring!

So if they engage me and for some reasons have a key of one of my gates, they can follow me inside and kill me?
Should I avoid to build any gate poiting inside my village? They look like good things if you want to have a "community" without needing to store every HF inside walls...

edit: another question
how do I use roads with carts/wagons? The teleport doesn't seem to work. With carts I managed to "follow" the road, with wagons I can not even click on milestones.

1. It doesn't matter the direction the gate is facing, if someone can start combat with you across a gate, they can still attack you even after they get the visitor buff. However, if you're in your claim you can just Right Click > Evict them, if you have the cold blood enough :) They'll be knocked outside.

Thing is; if you're giving your key to people that might want to kill you, you might reconsider your key giving criteria lol :P

2. You can't teleport with carts/wagons. Only follow :)

Definitely don't have the gates facing in for general basebuilding purposes.

Well, since the visitor debuff came out, it's actually an interesting thing to have two gates, one facing each direction, so you can come back inside if aggro'd when leaving (for example) without having to walk around with a master key :)

Some people are building double gates for that reason.
But yeah, for general purposes, make it facing outwards or there's a chance you'll lock yourself in if you somehow lose your master key lol

The beehives generate wax based on their bee-charges available and amounts of crops growing nearby.
They can store up to 5 pieces of wax and 5 lites of honey at given time.

If I have a Knarr that's locked and I have the key, and I leave it on a village claim that I'm not a part of, is it stuck or can I still use it since I have the key?
I don't have a spare knarr to test this myself :?

My fear is that if someone kill me, he can then steal my slave key, enter in my village and kill everyone... I will think a lot about this thing. Risk of death is more or less important then "annoyed by travel to HF" ?

Life sucks.

I am not able to "follow" from wagons. Should I click when I'm particularly close to the milestone? Or what? If I right click I only lose the ability of move the wagon, and I have to exit from it and riding it again...

Oh, don't worry about that. It can't happen. I mean, they might even get in but they won't kill or do anything, unless someone stands in aggro sight and range when they are outside the opened gate - unlikely. But then again, the key word here is: communication.

The first thing you'll do if you die is let your friendly villagers know. So they won't take risks themselves and might even change the key if needed/for safety.

Oh, yeah, sorry. Wagon can't follow, has to manually go. What I meant is that none can fast travel.

You can fast travel with a pack bull, though - not as efficient as a wagon or cart but better than your backpack :D

Ok, I feel safer now :) Thanks. What do you mean for "aggro range" ? How long is it? A minimap? Or the same range that you need to "memorize" a stranger ?

If they, however, manage to get in, am I safer if I enter in a house / in a minehole? They shouldn't be able to perform other criminal acts, so they cannot enter and at the end they will lose aggro, right?

Thank you, I will craft a pack :D
