If they, however, manage to get in, am I safer if I enter in a house / in a minehole? They shouldn't be able to perform other criminal acts, so they cannot enter and at the end they will lose aggro, right?

No, it's less than a minimap. I think it's a bit longer than the "memorize" range, though.
Use the attack command on a chicken or a rabbit far away and you'll automatically walk towards it. When combat starts, this is your answer, this is aggro range. Some people probably have a more accurate answer though (in tiles or something).

But yeah, you should feel safe, no worries. :)
The intended game mechanic is that you can only be harmed at home if someone sieges you - that is, break your walls. There are glitches and abuses and all that, but for general purposes, having a locked gate in a claimed wall is pretty much as safe as you can get.

And yes, if someone manages to aggro you through an opened gate - which is very unlikely but can happen - entering a house will eventually break combat because they won't be able to follow you inside.
But prefer a house - NOT a minehole! Although they probably won't be able to follow you inside the minehole, unless you built banners underground you'll be leaving your claim so it's generally safer just to enter a house.
Now, this will hardly happen nowadays since you can simply right click any visitor and "Evict" - this is an insta-knockout and throws them outside. It can be more risky for them than for you to follow you inside your claim without taking down your walls ;)

Aggro range is visual. To initiate combat, you do have to approach the target to within a certain range, but once initiated, aggro is maintained as long as the target(s) are in visual--that area that is drawn to the screen (more or less). Once the target(s) move out of this range, aggro begins to drop and is indicated by the portrait changing to the big question mark. Once in that state, aggro drops after so many seconds, about 15 to 20 I think, and sooner if you can move completely out of range (not sure what this is, but is a good bit more than half a mini-map).

To note, as I didn't see it stated, anyone with the Visitor debuff cannot do anything that would leave a scent, so that would include peeking into containers.

I had several quests going when I moved areas. Once I got to my new area I deleted all my quests so a new one could pop up from the new area.
Instead one of the ones I deleted showed up because I caught a fish (one of the parts of the old deleted quest) and I do not seem to be getting
any new quests due to having one. I tried abandoning it again but it is not showing in my current quests, only in my completed quests.

Any ideas how I can remove it so I can get new quests ?

Delete all the previous quest then use "Commune With Nature", i have never used that but it should work.

Think I just saw a thread on this in the bugs forum: viewtopic.php?f=47&t=52464

What needs to be done in order to destroy an active and charged claim without palisade? Can the claim stake be bashed with enough strength, or claim shield must be taken down anyways?

If it still has presence you'll need to siege it down with a wrecking ball

Do quests even give nice rewards? I don't feel like doing them unless I get like twice as good items that I can get early game. It takes a lot of time to travel so it'd better be worth it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I used a relative new character to test the sytem and as normal rewards I received a fistful of gilding leafs (+1 - +3 in 1-2 stats), have LP wise seen between 1 and ~4500, also they did pumped my stomache between 0 (yea, really) and 18%, also XP up to 5k.

So not that shabby for quests that can be done with a beginning character but also not really motivating.

But the current christmas gifts cut it: From them I got (amongst others) q~100 bone saw, q58 hammer, perl necklace (in pieces), q~45 seeds for plum/apple/hazel/walnut, enough matches/flint&steel for some months and loads of tafl boards and tin soldiers around ~q50, about 1/2 bar of gold and silver each, merc ring +4.
