Ok, maybe you can, and I'm just miss-remembering from last world or two. Seem to recall you couldn't at least world 8. (Of course, why would you want to since no hunger and no energy filled from them?)

There are still a few things unimplemented from legacy. This is one. There's a listin Critiques & Ideas.

You have to do this in character creation. There's a "reflecting pool" just after you cross the river on the left-hand side of the path.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

unless they changed it since W9, taproots give 100% energy.
also, taproots + beetroot leaves are great FEP variety fodder if you're trying to level certain attributes on a budget

Just for the clarity, the first quest you start searches for a questgiver in a set radius around you, but when another npc gives you a quest, he searches for another npc in a radius around him, so it can get relatively farther and farther away from your base. The distance between questgivers doesn't change, it's just that questgivers make a "chain" that goes further and further as you complete quests.

Not my experience, but I was centralising the questgivers (as I played around with the mechanic in L1, so all questgivers were stones and I moved every new one toward my collection before interacting with it for a while) - new questgivers were generated from boulders farer away each time, not much but very well noticeable. Same seemed to hold true for quests done above ground, distance to the new one seemed always a bit higher than to last 'new' one.

Swamps, on the other hand, drain stamina even at a walk speed. You have to move at crawl to not suffer any drain.

Okay, here's an oddball question: what color FEP glitter appears when you level up will? i need a color so i can finish the the fep chart on the wiki

If you still need this information, it's kind of a yellow green.

I'd call it pretty close to this.

Is fishing viable again or is it a convoluted mess like in w9?
