Also most fish. Fish are bread and butter for new characters

I've bought "fishing", I don't see any fishing-related items to craft in the crafting tab. Possibly because I'm missing some other required skills? I've got lumberjacking and carpentry, if it's of any matter.

Also, thank you for answers guys!

(edited finishing -> fishing. Thanks Burinn!)

I'm assuming you mean fishing? To make the most basic rod you need to have discovered boughs, string, and wood blocks. For a hook, a bone. Hope this helps.

When you're done just left click, then right click your hook, fishing line, and bait onto the pole.

Am I just incredibly unlucky or has the percentage chance of a leech replacing a swollen bump with a leech burn absurdly low now? I've used like 10 and it hasn't happened yet. I'm just fattening the leeches for bait at this point.

Sounds like RNG strikes again. But at least you'll have bait.

Also, isn't it better odds with higher quality? Maybe you're used to using q40 leeches?

What's the point of having two similar objects that use different materials and I am talking about wooden sign and runestone. They both serve same purpose do they not? Unless runestone and wooden sign are different in some way?

How long does it take animals to despawn, assuming no player enters the area? (In particular, bats. I live in a cave, and two bats spawned right at the entrance, trapping me inside until they've despawned. Logged off for now, want to know when I can log on again.)
