When my hunger meter gets to 100%, I assume I just can't eat anything more. Does this gradually go down at a steady rate, or can I do energy-heavy activities or something else to attempt to drain it faster?

You can always eat, but an increasing penalty to FEPs you get starts coming into place.

It goes down very slowly at lower levels, but at max hunger fullness it drops pretty rapidly.

I'm guessing most combat related skills(Soldier Training, Brawling, etc) are gone from the game, and you need to discover moves by fighting animals now. So if you're looking for sting and block, try fighting badgers and boars and whatnot. Foxes and below don't seem to yield those moves as far as I have observed.

Just found out that hostile mobs won't be able to attack you, if you are on your boat. That way you can easily block them in shallow water and just shoot arrows in their faces. Wonder if that is intended.
