They're a bush, not a foragable. Use a treeplanter's pot.

Don't quote me on this but I believe they need to be planted in caves. The wither trees need to be planted outside, however.

Is there a way to see the taming progress on Amber?

As far as I know - the only information about the taming progress is that small yellow number which quickly floats up in the air after the animal gives up the fight and which is very easy to miss. I don't think Amber is catching and storing it, but would be glad to be proven wrong.

This makes sense, will try it.

Planting it in a garden pot (inside a cave) did not work.

Has nothing to do with the claim shield. The only two ways to reduce the claim shield is either expansion or being sieged. As long as there is presence, the shield regenerates at X points per hour. Details are here: http://ringofbrodgar.com/wiki/Claim_Shield

Dosn't state what happens in the case of the claim lacking presence (one of my suspicions, as a consequence of not adding presence via studying).
Did anyone test that?

Reread earlier post that said you couldn't put it in a garden pot. Nevermind me. Thought you were implying that you did plant it in a garden pot and it didn't sprout.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

The fact that you can put them in a garden pot is interesting. Bug or will it actually grow? Update us, please?

He was asking because he could not put it in garden pot.

What's the soak on the subsequent wooden roadsign posts? I was able to destroy the initial with no issues, but I'm too weak to break down the subsequent ones apparently.
