I don't know if it's been asked before, but how do I get more local quests? I ran out of quests and every time I use "Commune with nature" it sends me to a middle of nowhere supergrids away. Am I fucked?

Usually you should simply wait (max 4 days) to receive a new quest if you don't have any. I have no info about the maximum distance, sadly

Depends on how many quests you've done. It gets harder and harder to "keep them close" the more you do. Reports are even that if you clean out all your quests and wait for a new one to show up or just use Commune with Nature, you still are just as likely to have to travel some distance.

Are you sure guys that porphiry can be found on ground? (on stone patches i mean, not boulders)
I have checked an entire mountain...no porphiry, only unlucky? Have you found some?

If it's not an ore, it can be dug up on the surface. Whether there is actually a patch where there's stone to dig up is another story. You might be stuck trying to mine it up.

Find a place where there's "stone terrain" and dig. You get stones of the type there.

Yeah...i'm pretty sure there was in World 9....I'm curious if anyone have found any porphiry this world, cause i'm starting to think they could removed it cause the gilding thing.....but probably I'm just raging cause the unluck....I spent the last 2 days looking for it, I travelled into vortex also to get to mountains, checked all the mountain here and there and nothing all the stones but not porphiry, omg ehehe

Does grapejuice ferment differently when being inside vs. outside? Had a demijohn of grapejuice outside, set a timer for 56 hours (one week ingame time), came back to vinegar. Same thing, demijohn inside, timer currently at 95 hours and counting... still grapejuice!

In W9 I never found porphyry on the first level, the same with marble and cinnabar. Only lvl2 or deeper.
