I've just build a kiln using q31 (70%) and q30 clay. If I inspect it, it says "q31". Is the inspect unable to show decimals or is it really q31?

How does animal spawn actually works?
Is it like when i load a map there is a chance an animal is loaded random on that grid or is it like a fix tile?

I'm sure that animals are nestled around the map, you just have to bump into them them.
The quality of animals varies, don't know exactly what causes it to but I've butchered two boars, one I found randomly and one I plopped arrows into, the quality differs.

Map sections are loaded as needed. When one loads, it can spawn a variety of items, including animals. These sections stay loaded about 15-20 minutes. When they are unloaded, anything that is "temporary" is flushed. This includes at least animals and items that haven't been foraged.

Animals, like all other items, have a varying range of qualities they can spawn, which is mostly dependent on exactly which tile they spawn on.
