Im pretty sure that all major factions at very least, bot their fields. Which has remotely impact on everything.

They cultivate trees that produce edible fruits or nuts. First fruits appear on the immature tree the next day or two, so it is already possible to gather fruit and to plant new tree. This way you can raise the trees quality without waiting for full maturation.

Right now I have mole skin at 88%, while everything else is at 66%, and they were all placed in the tanning tub at the same time.

Cave-ins can't destroy objects with soak. So they won't destroy palisade walls, but will destroy smelters and crucibles - assuming the wiki is correct in saying they have no soak, I haven't tested it personally.

Will a realm bonus building (menhir/grotesque idol) function normally if built underground?

They are buildable, just want to make sure the bonus will work
