My miner ALT has the nexcessary LP for both so I'm trying to see if it's better to dump the LP into masonary and go clay hunting for the kiln/plant pots, or get the two skills.

Decisions decisions

EDIT: Speaking of which I'm having trouble getting decent clay. Is it better to hunt in the shallows or for Acre pits?

Steelmaking lets you get more wrought iron from blooms and lets you make steel. Metallurgy increases the amount of metal you get from ores that you mine after getting the skill, so any pre-mined ore wont be effected.

The three skills that increase ore yield are Tunneling (+20%), Metallurgy (+20%) , and Deep Artifice (+10%). Total will be a 50% increase in yield if you have all three skills.

Might have the percentages off a bit. I'd have to dig up the old post when this was implemented (start of w8).

Christ this is turning into Sean's 'Grand List of Simple Questions'

What attributes does a crafter need? It's mainly Dex and Phy yeah?

Also my miner has had masonary dumped onto it but I'm noticing that it's needed (importantly for clay objects) on the crafter too. Guess you gotta pump masonary twice or something? That's not really a question I guess, ok just answer the first one ya bunch of pervs

Also, how often (if at all) does Ball Clay respawn? And the Tree planters pot http://ringofbrodgar.com/wiki/Treeplanter's_Pot says it's softcapped by Dex/Farming but yet the wiki says its Dex/masonary/Farming, which is it? I'm trying to get the max outta this nice clay node I found

Depends on what you're crafting... for rings you need Psy+Will, for a bonesaw you need Int, for food you need Per, etc. I think you can skip Agi, Con, Cha. Maybe skip Str too if your miner/hunter will craft your metalwork items.

Ball clay is pretty fast... you could harvest it every real life day at least, maybe faster. Just click in craft menu to see pot is dex+masonry+farming.

When a tamed horse is knocked out due to a cave in (assuming you build a food trough and keep it fed until it recovers); how long until it is able to stand up again?

Same as any other time it gets KO'd: about 24 hours. No need to feed it while it's out. Would suggest fencing it in to keep it from wandering too far. Also note that it can get KO'd 3 times. The last time is death.
