cheese rack changin colors while occupied, it's a known bug?

Pretty sure that's your client settings. The green racks are highlighted as green because they're empty (ready to go), filled racks are a neutral colour, and racks with finished product should show up as red highlighted. It does this for me on drying racks using amber.

If I'm right, disabling the "highlight empty/finished drying frames" option and relogging should fix it.

I don't think there's a visual indicator of cheese being complete. As such, there's no way for the client to see if the cheese is done or not. The reason drying frames feature exists is because the hide on the frame looks different when it's complete and when it's not

aren't they just made from different wood? like that greenish color are willow boards and idk what is brown but even textures are different so it i not highlight

I'd guess Romovs hacked the cheese racks to use Pine textures when they have trays in them and ash/bay willow when empty.

Some bushes have specific biomes, and even then what you find can be regional. Not enough science on this to put anything on the wiki that I know of.

Can a village terrority be non-continuous? We wanted to build a satellite base of our village, but it's kind of dangerous to leave village banners outside in the wild, so we thought of doing a row of banners to the satellite base and break them once the satellite is covered.

How important is it to optimize and get the "right" FEP's when starting out? And what are the recommended FEP's for a starting character? I only know Perception is important for foraging.

Do you have to leave tamed animals hitched? Can the roam freely without fear of despawning?

You need intelligence early more than anything. Early curios you need are mirk, feather trink, bark boat and dragonflies. Perception isn't terribly difficult to raise if you mix in fish wraps either.

I'd personally say push int to 30 immediately, add in fish wraps for a bit of per and agility fillers (rabbit/larva) to get your early game agi for combat. Once farms are going, agi is easy but until then it's a bit annoying.

Getting that int before your bar hits 100% is really nice for early LP

Only partially tamed ones.

Yes, I know. I use Amber. I have it marked. I just wanted to have an idea as to what terrain I should look in. Currently in my area, there are none.
