yep breaking the newly spawned walls can cause cave ins, time to build supports xd

Specifically, the instability is based on the tile, not the wall. So if a cave in fills in an unstable tile, that tile will collapse when mined.

How long does a fishwrap cook for with full heat on a fireplace?

Hey. To use a sublime portico do you need stats to teleport? I have a fresh char that discovered my old villages ccharter stone. Then travelled the whole map.. could I use it to teleport back to my village. Or do I need a skill or stat

I believe it's charisma to teleport. Crossing the world requires a notable amount, but I don't know how much off hand.

I understand. I recently undertook the responsibility of admin on the rob wiki, and it's difficult at times. I dont butt heads with anyone, but the nature of haven makes it difficult to regularly update with good information, and its even harder to get people to help update the wiki.

maintenance I pretty much have under control, its just i dont have the time (or desire anymore) to actually find information in game, such as biome information, FEP values, formulas, etc.

As it stands I cant make a combat guide because I (and basically everyone else) dont understand combat. and those who do understand combat enough to make guides are too caught up jerking each other off to help update the wiki.

I digress though. Every once in awhile I'll pop in here and proselytize for a bit, hoping to inspire someone to action.

No point at the moment, things are changing too fast. Wait til jorbtar goes back into hibernation and then the wiki can catch up.

If the devs provided raws, dumps, formulas it wouldn't be as much of a chore as it is now. I understand things like the fate system being kept secret, but things like base weapon damage formulas? Last info I could find was that the real numbers weren't being released explicitly.

The wiki is the community trying to help the devs, but there's got to be give as well as take. If you want to keep some of these things for players to discover, delay the data dumps for a month to give people time to play with it. But the wiki cataloguers need a bit of a bone thrown to them to have any chance of keeping up with active development/tweaking like haven's been going through. Scattered forum post tracking only goes so far.

Well that or pay someone, but we're being realistic here. I know haven doesn't have the money for that.

Don't think the devs consider the players knowing the formulae as necessary.
