In that case, if there are multiple data-type parts that are potentially undergoing major changes, it make more sense to me to currently use a global "data-transition in progress" message. And wait a bit until its more clear what parts are most effected.

Alternative I could (or also) drop some general message to all main-pages (like with that Legacy message back than), which than could be removed by RoB-users when a page, content & data wise, was checked against potential W11 changes. Sound potentially nice, but in practice ... I'm not sure if that would work that well. ... (will need some additional thinking/feature ... )

MagicManICT wrote:Changing subject: I see a lot of the quality information is on individual pages. Leave it this way? Update the main Cheese page and direct people to it for quality information?

If you ask me, I don't know as I have not spend that much time on/with cheese pages. If the data is stored in page-text form (versus property data) ... re-direct/[[link-up]].
If needed, data could be moved around if deemed useful to consolidate it (and its not yet active stored as properties). (Moved, not Copied. To prevent the inevitable data inconsistency)

... Looking into adjusting the global message setup a bit ...

RoB Update:

- Added: Template:Sitenotice-Main. Which sets the general site-notification message (on Main-namespace pages only).

- Added: Template:Pagenotice‎. Which allows for page specific notifications.
Its more or less ready to be mass added (BY ME!), but for it to be actively used it needs some additional TAGS updating.
Updating the TAGS and there text can be done by regular (game playing) RoB users. A bit of planning on this is probably not a bad idea.

I can add it to all Main-namespace (mmm, I think ...) pages without any tags, or I could do so with some general TAG (ie: tag with some text like "Page in need of preliminary W11 checking ...")

Just want leave a note that pagenotice should be only for food.

Hearth Magic page: Some of the spells have some tricks and other information that's probably useful beyond what's in the effects list. Should we just make a "Notes" section for them or give each one their own page? A page seems a bit much as in some cases, it's not really anything extra.

I added some containers for you to add notes to that hearth magic table.

I was actually thinking about doing it below so the table doesn't get too wide for browsers. Some magic will end up with multiple notes, others may have none.

Wrapped text preview at 1024x768 resolution.

Ricky:
What's up with that closing of mw-tables with "|-" ?
You do know how mw-tables should be properly closed, right ?
Have you not noticed the potentially side effect of improperly closing tables like that ?

On the table reformatting experiment.
Lets not try to teach other users that its ok to use main-pages as a means of communicating some experimental reformatting. Mediawiki has a Sandbox-page and/or User-space pages for that.
