Do realm bonuses extend underground fully? Or can they be?

Is it possible to recycle items that don't have the same number of gilds? I.E: A linen shirt with one gild and another with two gilds. I've just gotten a quality boost and I want to replace the gilds on the shirt with two gilds. Do I need to make a new shirt with two slots altogether?

Nope, you can slot them together (I have a 2 slot and 1 slot pair of pants of the same type on and checked for you). Each gild rolls its chance separately though, so the more gilds involved the lower the chance of success (you need all the checks to succeed for the full success).

They do if the realm is extended underground. It works like village claims do in that you need to build the claim structure underneath an existing one realm claim.

Ah ok, didn't realize that. Does the mineral bonus extend to stones? Or only to ore?

Combat Questions Time:

So I just took out my first bear n Moose. Go me. Now I want to get into the nitty gritty.

My current deck n strat are to spam Quick Barrage till I get red openings up. Then once I get my Red Opening to around 40% I use Opertunity Knocks and start using Full circle until the Coup De Grace in the form of Cleave. I have steal thunder/regain composure/artful evasion/zig-zag for opening reduction and I'm using shield up stance with my crappy Frydmans sword.

Thing is I was pumping M.E over unarmed as I was no longer using the punches etc but I'm just twigged that pretty much all my moves dont use M.E at all. Quick Barrage/Cleave go off weapon q NOT M.E.

So my question is is it best to JUST pump U.A for all things? My M.E is much higher than my U.A

Far as I understand it, Melee is all you need for hunting. Unarmed is still useful in pvp for the various UA based defense types, but everything you need for hunting is melee.

The deck suggested to me was Parry stance, Quick Barrage + Flex + Sting + Cleave + Take Aim and then 4 cards to cover your defenses. QB for IP/red opening, and then sting or cleave depending on how powerful you are vs the creature (some critters will run before you can cleave when your stats get higher). Parry should help cover your blue openings, but if not you can flex them for a bit as required. This of course requires a sword for parry.
