Are stag beetles part of the the "bit of silliness"? that was in couple patches back, like one of these things? http://ringofbrodgar.com/wiki/Stalagoomba
Also does anyone know yet full extent of this "silliness"? Like also the massive eyeball poping up once in a while.

Stag beetles were just released in this patch as a "forest friend", so I don't think it's related to the silliness.

I highly doubt it. I think it's just rare. It's a critter, wandering around like ladybugs etc.

What is the damage of a metal axe? Is it the same as stone? (Feels like it should do more.)

Does quality impact damage? i.e. is my Q61 stone axe better than a 10 bronze sword?

The wiki only has damage value for the slings, bows, and the stone axe.

Weapon damage calculated by formula = weapon_base_damage * sqrt( sqrt(str * weapon_quality) / 10 )
Stone axe base damage is 30, bronze sword - 90. You can calculate it now.

As I know, now combat delta is calculated as cuberoot of agi or skills ratio. So, let imagine, that one char have agi 1000, second - 10, in this case agi delta will be 4.64. Let imagine, that one char have attack weight 500, second char have defence weight 1, in this case combat delta will be 7.93.

yeah, the damage-influence-by-quality formula I know, what I didn't have was the base damage.

Where do I find the base damage of things? The wiki doesn't have it.
