Yeah, I use Shield Up as my basic defence.

Can anyone tell me how mutch Str I need to destroy a stone trail?And if there is an easier way to destroy it than just bashing it with axe/pick?

Wrecking ball could work, but I never tried so I could be wrong, and you still need a full day to let it dry.

Just a follow-up, Wrecking ball work on them, with 41 Str I destroyed it with 3 swings.

Yeah, I use Shield Up as my basic defence.

Considering how good Shield Up is in PvE and Parry in PvP is, I don't see the issue in putting a decent amount of points into Melee Combat (I got mine to 30, gilded an extra +30 and was able to fight from fox to deer pretty well without getting damaged too much with Shield Up).
But if you intend to do any fighting amongst players, I'd suggest getting some points into Unarmed as well.

Although just a reminder in case you didn't notice, you're generally not going to be raising any offensive maneuver efficiency (aside from parry and full circle) by investing in MC, as most melee related moves deal weight/damage based on the weapon rather than the skill.

im mining charlcopyryte and it gets to 100% and i dont get anything... am i missing something?
