Sorry to break into the convo but I am having trouble reaching the wiki and I think my IP is blocked by the firewall (I can access through proxy).
It started about two days ago. My ISP is swisscom if that helps.

It could be some sort of server issue for your ISP and you'd have to talk to them. it could be something in the middle. It may just be a domain look-up issue. You can try using a generic domain service like google's: 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4. It may be an issue with the cached domains on your computer. Open a command prompt and do a DNS flush (command varies based on operating system). Other possibilities may exist. If your ISP has tech support for free, it'd probably be best to ask them to check into it, but you can ask here and someone with better experience than I might be able to help.

There is a block list that admins have access to, but no IP/user has been added in ~6 months, so it's most likely on your end. Hope you get it figured out

Subjects like "Lock & Key" and "Wort" are really in need of the general information on that page describing what, exactly, the players need to do, be aware of, etc, in one place.

Can't say I disagree with that.

I don't think it matters what page it is on, but it needs to be somewhere on a general page and players can click links through to more specific pages that give specific information about an item, and not have a process or other information repeated on multiple pages. Redundant information has been a problem in the past, and continues to be a problem.

(I take "Redundant information" as "Redundant duplication of information" in this case)
Not using information duplication on highly related/identical subject pages is an option, but it stands or falls with good intuitive linking. (easy to follow(mentaly) by just about all users)

I like to organize, but I tend to do things according to "my vision" and it is often quite wonky compared to what people might expect. It looks great to me and is well ordered, but to Average User August, it's a chaotic mess. I tend to not touch such things without at least input from people on what they like and don't like.

I don't have time at this minute, but maybe I'll make a couple mock-up pages under my user profile or something so people can see what I'm thinking of.

A user space experimental preview sound like a good plan to me. Best done while taking the time for it of course (versus a rushed job).

Don't have to.
Most ISP's give out dynamic-IP's as default for personal/residential usage now a days. (swisscom too)
Although its kinda rare ... I for one has had it happen to me on some site(s) (don't remember which any more). Forcing a ISP assigned IP-number change solved it.

(The chance something like this might happen directly related to RoB's blocked list is of course extremely improbable ... but ... not impossible)

Ugh, I have 1 (one) entry in a database dating back to 2009 and across the ocean for the crime of... having a dynamic IP adress? Thanks for the help. I will try to get a static IP or fiddle with google's DNS.

Priority number 1) (as indicated in two replies to your post) Try Google's open DNS servers, and see if that makes a differences => https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/ !!!
