Oh man, neat! You should put them all in one spot, like a collection. I'm gonna keep my dead deer in my house. He's my friend now.

Is it possible to trade or sell cash shop hats with other players?

Surveying land

Postby dzwmekanik » Sat Aug 05, 2017 10:46 pm

I want to build something, so I flatten out a spot of ground for it. Now I want to build something next to it, so I flatten out another spot. The problem is that this new spot isn't on the same level as the spot next to it. I can't survey the entire space because there's already something built on half of it. Is there a way to survey a spot of land to a height equal to another spot of land?

It seems like if I want to have a consistently flat space to build on, I have to survey my entire settlement before building anything.

However it never seems to go into agro state, and everything we look up claims taming is totally easy, seemed easier in legacy as far as I can tell IMO, is there anything else we should be doing? (Also if we need to move it to a new post does it reset the timer for agro?)

Does your alt start at it, or do you stare at it?
Hitched animals should only despawn if you skipped several (two? no idea) aggro cycles of the animal and as long as you don't inspect them (as this untheters them).

Yes, but I have to dig up directions. It's late for me, but I didn't want your question to get skipped. Poke me if this doesn't get answered in the next 24 hours.

While you can't overlap two survey areas, you can survey out a couple of tiles and raise and lower the flag for the area until it's lined up with the level side.

My suggestion is to do just like city planners do and work with the contours of where you settled. Not everything needs to be level, and things don't roll down hill, thankfully. Just remember that actions take energy, and while it may not be real cash and energy, it's still a deficit you have to make up for by taking up game time that you might spend doing other activities, so is it worth leveling out the whole base if you don't need to?

If your land's not drastically steep, such as a rolling plain, build a palisade segment by segment,or as many segments as the land can take at once.

Is it even possible to break a palisade gate that's open? Is there some magic pixel that I'm missing?

You can transfer ownership of a cash shop hat by right-clicking it onto another character (like gauze) - but there is no trade system that ensures receiving the agreed payment (barter stands don't work, AFAIK).

Further question: Is it just double wide palisade gates that aren't smashable? Seems like a bug.

You should be able to place a wrecking ball inside the open gate so it'll target the gate itself (by not rotating it when dropping it from one of the tiles in the gate onto the other).
