Credos

How exactly do you start the credo quests? Do you just keep doing quests until you get one, or is there more to it?

Asking for a friend.

Enter character sheet, then "Credos" in Lore & Skills. Choose the credo to pursue (you can have only one at a time) and that's it. You need to have 10k lp to begin as well. The cost is proportional to the number of credos you have.

I'm back for a bit to play casually, looking around on the forum I can see people saying that there is no permadeath? I couldn't find anything in the patch notes, I'm guessing its some sort of inheritance prayer thing for very developed groups?

also, can someone tell me where Akihabara is on the map, I seem to have spawned in their borders :)

ps quests and credos seem fun!

They didn't get rid of permadeath. If someone wants to, and they don't screw up, they can still kill you. There is an option for logging out or hearthing while KO'd now, but it does have a 20-30s cooldown upon getting KO'd, so it's not like you can immediately get out of danger. I'd say it's more a hard nerf than removing it.

Quests can be quite rewarding, but can be quite a pain in the ass, too. It really depends on the area you are in, how much water you have to cross, and if you can get a horse. Also to note is the actual quest objectives... got one in last few days that is "gain 4 points of PSY" on a nearly new character. Won't abandon it because I'll eventually get it, but might be a month before I finish it.

I unlocked the abilities needed to build the stone tower, but still I cannot build a great hall. Which skills it needs? Or it only needs to discover some particular metal or something like this? (I discovered only cast iron, and got it only from 2% of the ores too, extremely annoyng...)

The only thing I can think of that the great hall requires that the stone tower does not is hardened leather. Make sure you have gone through the "checklist" of discoveries, IE: discover fresh fur, dry fur, leather, wax (either kind) etc.

Ah, thank you! I didn't discover hardened leather yet, I'm still waiting the wheat to grow and get the straw, I didn't notice that ingredient.

20 should do it. You can get by with lower if you keep openings down. I would say at least 10 to be safe.

thanks - I decided to try the MC route since I got a shield up from ants, and i could easily do it with just the 3 deflection from the shield and 15mc 15ua, using some restorations.
