Fucking archery, how does it work?

[whining]Score a bullseye in an archery target, it said. So fine. I built one and have fired a pile of arrows at it, repeatedly. Sometimes I could get ten points, but no bullseyes. So sod this. So ditch the quest and get a new one.

Put an arrow in a fox, it said. So fine, this has to be easier than getting a bullseye, even one point will count! One small pile of dead foxes later, all beaten to death with my bow because the foxes mock the arrows, plus one dramatic moment involving MY HORSE ATTACKING ME WHAT IS THIS EVEN and sod this, ditch the quest, get a new one.

Put an arrow in a fucking beaver. FUCK'S SAKE. [/whining]

What stats do I need? Currently in posession of about 150 MM and 100 Per. Does equipment q matter? I'm not particularly trying to kill anything, just do the quest. Is there something else I'm doing wrong? Can I equip an arrow and walk up and stab the little fucker with it?

The target, and I can only speak anecdotally, seems to only need a high aim bar to complete. Any time I've done it I've stood point blank, charged the bar to approx 70-80% and then fired. Got it in 3-4 shots each time. The other I can't speak to, haven't been given the chance to test it out, but maybe you need to kill it with an arrow? How high are you charging your aim bar?

I know that this might sound stupid, but when you fire the arrow, are you clicking the middle of the target, or the ground beneath it? Because I spent all of world nine trying to use a bow, but I could never hit anything. Then I found out that the arrow actually targets the area above where you click on the ground. So if you're trying to hit a target, click the middle of the base of the target, not the target itself. Same goes for animals.

Yes, you aim/fire at something by clicking the ground (not the object), in combat you can aim/fire by clicking the portrait of your enemy.
The archery target has a minimum range you need to be away from it to correctly register bullseyes - point blank would be way to easy, wouldn't it?

I'm doing the fisherman's credo, so I gathered many stockpiles of fish. What should I do with them? Is there any good, simple fish recipe I could use them on? Most fish recipes seem like garbage..

Fish sticks are OK. Not great, but better than throwing away the fish.

Is the dreaded "vagina cannon" still a thing?

It's more or less fixed, though I've seen a stray post or two about an issue. The newborn animal is dropped onto the same tile as the mother and can pass out at first opportunity, kind of like a hearth fire.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

Hey everyone, so I have a question about compost bin: is one worm enough per compost bin or will the speed increase further if I add more worms? Also, quality of worms doesn't have impact on the quality of mulch, right?
