Making it worth to invest some LP in the skill in advance, so that the boosted level is worth more LP. (Which will make it interesting doing them early world next world).

Should the mechanic be identical to now we'll see plenty of suicides (my guess is one after completing each credo) as the volatile boni (+skill, that are lost on death) are irrelevant compared to quickly gathering the permanent ones (+inventory, +study speed, ...).

I thought so. Wonder what the optimal level to do early ones like forager would be...

Oh, fair point. Forgot about that. Early world, probably would do that for the first tier (fisher, forrager, maybe hunter), and then start leveling up stats. If you play with alts, would be very easy to suicide your crafter alt multiple times after getting each creedo on the way to tailors/etc.

does Sheep "meat#" always go down?

at one point I had meat# 5, now I'm trying to keep above 10 but whenever ql goes up, meat# goes down,

No, we have some sheep with 10+ on the meat#. It's just luck I guess. Pray to RNGesus.

Also, does anyone know about how the 'in the fog' buff gained from smoking hemp buds works? I know it gives fep bonuses, but does it need to be at 100% in order to get the maximum bonus?

Straight away, the buffs are insane. I've hit "Found another one!" on q50 flotsams (this is including the quality buff from the credo), which is a nice feeling.

Speaking of credos and suicides, I'm approaching the end of my nomad credo (4th one without dying) and I want to kill myself, because not exploiting this mechanic is far too hard :)

As I understand it, animals, even bears, can't really kill me effectively any more? Are there any more interesting ways of killing myself?
