Can credos give you quests you currently can't complete?

I have about 1326 per*exp (with a realm buff 783 without it) I'm in but my last forager credo quest has me eating a strawberry, which apparently has a min of about 1850.

I guess I technically don't need to find it, just get one and eat it.

Yes.

If memory serves, jorb has stated you aren't given quests for foraging and such unless you have some chance to find the herb or otherwise complete the quest. Note that the RoB wiki list shows the minumum needed to have a 25% chance to see the item, and this is based on legacy observations. Updated numbers since w8 may need verification of what the "bottom" and "top" values are.

From personal experience, though, I've gotten stuck on a couple of foraging quests trying to "find" the item I was given until I had put several points into an attribute or boosted it via gilds/realm bonuses. That may be because I wasn't searching in the optimal locations, or the target is just rarer than the average item, so low spawn rate combined with low "find chance" just made it hard to finish the quest.

Correct. Just visit a market and buy one.

There are potential shenanigans where you receive a quest at boosted stats, your stats are lowered ( wounds, taking off equipment, etc.) And you can no longer complete it

What is the Will stat used for? in the wiki it is very vague "Will is intended as a measure of the character's ability to force him/herself through the roughs and toughs." What does that mean exactly? Is it used for magic, or for hard labor? And how exactly does it affect it?

Well, i think it's impossible to use it accidentally. However, client restart solved the "problem".

The rare crops don't show up until you actually harvest the plant, and they're extremely rare, like 1:5000 range of rare because of the sheer number of crops that get harvested every day.
