I've found a lot of posts about farming skill affecting crops when you plant the crops, but none says which way exactly they are affected.
For example is it impossible for crops to grow in quality if my farming skill is below the said crop? I.e. I plant q40 carrots with 20 farming skill, will the carrots get the randomized 0-5 increase?
Or in general if anyone could explain in what ways the farming skill affects planting.

Planting with lower farming removes the chance of increasing the quality.

What does Branding iron actually do? Just mark the animals, so they have your name on it, or does it "claim" them so they can not be used by other people?

A credo (Miner) quest ask me to mine Cinnabar. Does that only exist deeper in the mine, or can i find some in lvl 1 or 2? Haven't seen any yet and wondering. Thanks

Cinnabar is just a stone type. It should exist on all layers, though there may not be any in your region.

How do I climb cliffs fast, the pathfinding keeps getting me to awkward angles where I can't start the cliff emotion before an animal hits me about 7-10 times.

I am trying to hunt animals with marksmanship by leading them to cliffs. I am also curious on how to shoot moving targets, or determine your maximum aim distance.

you need to approach cliffs at an angle facing either directly north/east/west/south, since these are the only directions that you can climb.

is there a way to auto adjust these situations for cliffs that are only 1 dimension in length? the ones that stretch diagonally.
