Animal Husbandry? I don't recall off top of my head, but it's what comes to mind as the possibility.

Other possibilities: Foraging, Hunting (don't remember which allows you to catch insects, if even needed), Plant Lore (needed for the Herbalist Table), Sewing (needed to process the filaments and threads and then cloth)

You catch butterflies like you can catch any flying curio. No skill needed, just enough perception x exploration to see them. After you get them, you need a herbalist table, leaves, have chances for sucessfully getting silk influenced by skills, abilities, softcaps and every small detail one could think of to make your life miserable for every string of silk you get. But to get the butterflies is the easiest part of it all.
Wastelands. Ruins everywhere from proud civilizations, with today's survivors scavenging whatever they can carry even if they can't even use it. Eating rats cooked alive is OK for everyone. Walking around naked is natural, since very few have time to waste in getting a rag to cover their deep wounds. And the game is only Alpha.

I don't understand it... I had swimming ability, so why I can't even swim for 5 seconds without freaking dying?

Swimming draws stamina (the blue bar), as soon as you run out of it you'll start to drown.

Is there any chance of me getting back my body?

Your body should be where you drowned. Inherit in the starting room (gravestone inside the fenced area) and you'll respawn at your old fire.

Lenght of time you can swim with a full Stamina bar is in direct relation with your Constitution Attribute. If you have a Constitution of 10, simply do not try to swim, it is the safest. If you have a Constitution of 100 or so, try to cross the tiniest river you can find, look how much stamina it used, make conclusions about what you can do and what you can't.

Wiki and Granger say your body remain there floating to wait for a smarter guy with a boat to take it, study the skull and bury the corpse headless. You can believe them :)

I have all of those lol
Ill just try to pretend i have the skill for the moment, and see how it goes.

EDIT: Okay, i know the problem.
The silkfarming page has an error, it's not farming, but actually "beekeeping", the prerequisite.
I discovered by checking the skills page, instead of the silkfarming one.
Might wanna get that fixed.

That I know... But I want my things back e.e it is in the middle of the river xD I can't get it, right? Crap...

And one more question, we don't inherit the knowledge of our old characters? Why? It is very frustrating when I need to learn EVERYTHING from the beginning e.e For example, I want to make a saw and I have the bones, but I can't do anything, because I need to find a new animal to kill it and "magically" discover what is a bone.

Your stuff in the body, if its not decayed to skeleton yet, or looted by someone. Just lift it to your base and right-click on it, inheirit char can pick all the goods including studied curious without crime, others only using criminals.

In case your body hasn't turned into a skeleton (1h) then you can simply lift it - should it be in the middle of the river you can do that from a boat.

All rabbits i shoot have spider sense, they all start running in a random direction, often dodging my stones.

Am i missing something? is there a trick to not be detected by the target?
