Ok... I was trying to plant a tree and I did everything needed, but after putting the Treeplanter's Pot on the Herbalist Table and waiting for two hours, I go there and it is dead. WHY? Shouldn't it die only after 8 hours? ._.

Iirc it's a bit more than an hour to sprout and half that time to die.

On nomad credo quest, there's one about tamming an animal. This tame quest is about the "full tame process" or just the first step: leashing them with a rope and then hitching the animal to a Hitching Post?

what are these small one room caves,
in order to find ore do i just mine away at the walls of the long caves.
does the type of rock affect what type of ores are there

1. They're just small cave rooms. Not much to say.
2. Yeah, mine a tile, if no ore, go 10-20ish tiles away and mine again.
3. I haven't noticed any real correlation. Though rocks and ores available will change on different mining levels. Silver can only be found layer 2 and below, Gold layer 3 and below. There's also some rocks I've never seen on Layer 5.

i have heard that ranged got royally screwed over and is now worthless. can someone explain the specifics?

is there a damn group out there that goes out of their way to ruin any class i play in any MMO? because i loved range on here.... and the spear.

also, why does java go apeshit and tell me that the base client is unsafe as hell and why does firefox tell me that my login isnt secure? i dont remember all that when i played a few years back.

1. Ranged was "nerfed" world 9 I think for PvP (maybe late w8?). For hunting, it was screwed when animal quality was softcapped for each arrow or stone you hit the animal with. So... not so much nerfed for hunting overall if you can make q300 arrows. Otherwise... just forget about it. Learn to cheese melee style.

2. Spear always sucked overall. Won't say it doesn't have uses. I just don't know of any.

3. Blame Oracle, but Java is itself a security flaw, so if you're that worried you can't just ignore it, I'm not that sure what to tell you. Firefox started the warnings for anything with login fields about six months ago. Make sure you're using HTTPS sites and you won't see that warning. (It's a subtle hint that http never has and never will be considered secure.)
