First, what are you skills? These softcap the butchered quality of meat and such--farming for domestic, survival for wild. Second what quality tool do you use? This also softcaps the quality. Lastly, for domestic animals, what have they been eating, and have they taken any starvation hits? Starvation lowers the quality by up to half if they eventually die of starvation.

I don't know if is a bug or is just intended but in the wiki says that you only get the seal finger wound by fighting seals or walrus but then why i am getting that wound by skinning the seals?

You get it primarily from butchering from what I've gathered.

yeah butchering and skinning the animal too yesterday i literally skinned 2 seals and got 1 point on that wound while skinning one and the while butchering the other one got another 3 points on the wound someone should clarify this on the wiki because it only says you the the wound while fighting

It floated for a while above the ground and disappeared.
