hello, is there a table or a diagram to see the quality relations between items ? what influences what etc ? would be very time consuming to make one from wiki info, but if there is none then I would start a project like that ...

There's this guide but it's crazy outdated.

1)What is the most efficient way to clear mine supports/debris from an area you want to claim?
2) Can I park a wagon/hearthfire/X over cave-in tiles while removing mine supports, so they can't be filled with blocks that need to be mined?

I've a 60x60 plot underground, and I want to remove the mine supports.
The plan was to break a support > destroy rocks > mine out the "debris" tile, and hope by random chance eventually I'd clear everything.
This doesn't seem to be working.

A lot of alts is the best solution I've seen anyone suggest. You can rotate them out to let the concussions and such heal up... or just let them die. Removing supports will always trigger a cave in. Rules were changed not long ago so that if a particular tile--one that is set to cave in--is covered by any support, you're safe, but that's only useful if you're going to leave some supports in place.

I think that anything you could place that wouldn't be destroyed in a cave in would be harder to remove than the cave in, but your mileage may vary based on cave level and your str. You might experiment with some palisade sections, different houses, and such. That I know of, nobody has done any science on this matter (at least it hasn't been posted to the forums).

A different stance: you only need to remove authority objects (village idols/banners, personal claim stakes) to be able to claim an area, no need to remove supports (or anything else that is not projecting authority).

Specific parts of tackle (all of it) matters: string, hook, lure. If a recipe will take more than one specific material (such as a wood fish using any wood type), the specific material doesn't matter that I'm aware. When it comes to strings, I'm not sure if there's a differentiation between hemp and flax, but the other types (taproot, silk, etc) can matter.

Beyond that... just like in any real estate: location, location, location. Some fish are rare in most places, but relatively common in certain spots, and will have a higher (if not high) chance to catch.

Finally, some fish are just plain hard to catch, even if using the right combination of tackle in the proper location.
