So what's up with all the beavers that I can't skin or butcher? Worse than three out of four of the beaver in the beaver lodge can butcher me but once I defeat 'em they are resistant to any kind of processing.

Are the ones that can't be processed the same as the corpses that decompose with astonishing rapidity, or is that yet another interesting difference inside the wooden citadel of bucktoothed rodentia?

Is there anything I can do about these bug swarms that keep attacking me? . Ive already lost around 10 health just from them and they're really hard to see

They only thing you can do to avoid midges is to avoid areas where they spawn, and to stay inside/underground when they turn up at your base. There is no way to repel them.

Is there any travel network that takes me from Community fair to the old aurora area? The only connection on odditown is MC-CF and that trail seems broken.

Can stats degrade? Due to good luck and good finds I had a pretty decent int stat of around 30 but i looked and its now 17. It isnt red, theres no mouse over showing a decrease like how snake bites lower strength. It's just lowered. I've had some concussions, do they permanently lower Int stats?

There are certain wounds that lower int, check the wounds page in your CTRL-E character sheet
That being said the 30 might have been your 17 base INT plus the bonus from being inside a kingdom, and now that you've left that kingdom you've lost that buff. You also might've lost buffs if you removed int-boosting clothing

If the 17 is white that's your base int. If it's red it's being debuffed. If it's green its increased by the realm you're in or your equipment

For some reason I can't find my minimap. No matter which client I use, actually. Is there a shortcut I can use to get it back? I've been struggling with this since launch of W11 and it's very frustrating.
