Do certain areas in the game have base quality set higher?? Like sometimes I find taproots of quality 25, I go to another place and every single one of them is 10.

abt79 wrote:basically yes. There are independent"quality nodes" for each wild forageable, mineral, and animal in the game. The majority of the world contains quality 10 (lowest wild quality unless capped by your stats) of any given item, but nodes function almost like a topographical map, in that there might be a small area with quality 30 taproots, then around it a slightly larger circle with quality 29, 28, and so on, scaling back to 10

No. Moles are small animals that can be seen by anyone, like rabbits and squirrels. I see them on dryflat and similar grasslands, and some forest terrain too. On most terrain they can dig and escape unless you trample them on a horse going at 3rd/4th speed; if you see one on a beach or a mudflat you may be able to catch it yourself.

Leave razorclam inside a cauldron while it's boiling, same thing as for morels. Monolith has a use according to jorb (we guess other than the XP event) but isn't saying what exactly that is.

Speed of the horse only matters in trying to catch it. A mole is trampled simply because you're driving something over it. Same goes with any other vehicle. If a mole does burrow away, they usually pop back up somewhere nearby, so just chase again until they quit burrowing.

Moles are easy to catch on foot. They're no faster than squirrels or hedgehogs. You do need to move at "run" (3rd) speed.

You need at least one whatsthenameforthemiddlepost in between. So the cheapest two way bridge from travel weariness point of view is actually two one way bridges.

You extend from one roadsign once, then connect from the placed marker to the already constructed roadsign on the other side of the water.

How rare is washed-up bladderwrack? I need to study 2 for forager credo, but after searching nearly every damn beach on the southern continent, I've found 0. Wiki says 250 exp*per is needed, I currently have 1376...
