I've been prospecting for the past two days in search of some decent ore for my L2 mine, but have only found chalcopyrite and heavy earth. Should I just build a hole in a convinient place and prospect by poking rocks?

That is entirely up to you. Chalcopyrite is just fine. You just end up splitting between copper and iron.

It means you forgot to refill your waterskin and it can't find any other water in a recipient in your inventory. Therefore it will make you drink from recipients in your belt, if any. It's a clear sign you should refill your water recipients before continuing what you were doing.

This message I only saw in Ardennes client and not in Amber or in official clients. Because if you do not wait until thirst stops you and only then drink, Ardennes has a QoL facility who tries to make you drink around 50% stamina. This gives you the opportunity of automatic drinking WHILE you do what you were doing, without interrupting actions for drinking and thus saves you a lot of time. Ardennes can not suppose you were smart enough to use the best client available, yet so careless that to go do heavy work without enough water in your inventory. Nobody does that.

As a rule of thumb, everything that makes life easyer and less boring/grinding for players is a great idea. Everything that makes the game harder is crap coming from sadistic tendencies of Jorbtar helped by the few players with the same kind of disorders.

I was chased by a boar and found a burrow. I quicly entered and waited for comat to end. After that, I went back to the world and saw that the boar was actually destroying that burrow. So, the question is: what happens to a toon when he is inside a burrow and something destroys that burrow?

As was already mentioned, during mining or destroying I try to drink ahead of time to not interrupt the activity. The message is sorta an artifact of world 10 when people had 4 different belts in their inventory, I should make it less ambiguous now.

This is going off old understanding, but I don't think it's been changed. All the contents of the burrow (or house) would get tossed outside when the structure is destroyed. Hearthlings would be reduced to 0shp and in current system take concussion damage at the very least.

They do if they haven't discovered leather yet. But thank you for the info - I had just figured that out this morning and logged into forum to mark my question answered.

The loom I have on the claim outdoors isn't decaying, but the spinning wheel is. Cupboards will decay, too.

It looks like it does decay after all.

Hey equestrian expert of the hearth: Which one's better breeding stock? left or right?
As far as I can tell the left is better all around - but his breeding Q is much lower
The right horse has some actual turd stats, but his breeding roll is great.

how much weight should i put into the breeding Q?
