Not sure about hedgehogs, but I feel like poor man gloves are a lot more effective at stopping crabs/seal finger/jelly fish than they used to be. I take maybe 1/10th the wounds I get without them.

That is a big change if it's consistent. Used to be half chance with poor man's gloves at best.

Keep spamming simple questions. Poor's men gloves help with damage from crabs and hedgehogs. Bot not always, sometimes they still damage. quality of gloves doesn't matter? Any better gloves?

If I understand the question correctly it was - are they any better protecting from jellyfish/hedgehogs/etc or not. And I am not sure. Have anyone done some extensive testing? Basing just on how it feels there seems not to be much difference between different gloves...

Originally, there was a big difference. If Sevenless is correct and that the rate of wounds with poor man's gloves is that low, then there probably isn't a big difference.

Got plate gauntlets, for 5 hedgehogs 4 of them give me wounds for catching and 3 for killing. quill'd 48 atm.

What's the Q of your gloves? I've always had a suspicion that Q played a significant part in wound %.

they were 33q. Horse - didn't found wild one, domestic were restricted to get by our herder

Wasn't there some way to repair or recycle items (not sure if/how gildings were affected)? I vaguely recall something like this when I was last playing, but I don't remember clearly.

You can recycle gilded item by click on one item and right click on other item. I think both items must be same item, have no free gilding slot, and have same gildings in them. Something like this.
