Jorb says it should unlock on anything smokeable. The only other thing I can think of is that you didn't get the discovery for grinding the pipeweed.

this might sound a bit far-fetched, but have you discovered clay?

Yes, I have discovered clay. I am our miner/mason so I am the one who digs our clay.

I have 100% ground pipeweed in a quern.

alright. So you definitely have discovered all prerequisite items. The only thing left is skills.
pottery you said you have
farming i'm assuming you have
plant lore, however, you might not have and might be a prereq.

The Rage & Woodsmanship paths are the only skills I do not have.

How does palisade soak work. I have two adjacent tiles that I think I have to place palisades on. I'm building a double wall set and at this smallest point i have to have two wall tiles touching.

Will there be splash damage to both palisade tiles even if each palisade is built of a separate starting point? Searched but couldnt find anything. The wiki says "Cascade damage can only happen between segments with the same soak."

What about if the walls alternate between brick and palisades. Does that offer any tactical advantage?

Yes. Burning bread in an oven is more effective though...

I hear ya, no dough or anything just getting my lil place started so I'm maxing out High Energy low hunger foods (pit-baked stuff)

While I have ya does different Stam replenishment affect Energy loss or is it all the same?

Does say drinking water burn energy faster than normal standing around or sitting in a chair or is it all the same
