When taming a horse, can I enter a house to lower openings? Will it break the taming cycle / the horse will bash the house (stonestead)?

Yes, you can enter the house to lower openings. It can drop aggro but you can re-aggro when you go back outside. The horse will not bash the stonestead unless it's brand new.

There's supposed to be as there's likely quest rocks (and maybe mushrooms) all the way down. I've no idea how common they are.

Is there a way to use coracle boats in cave ponds or rivers without any shallow water? I try to drop it into the water but all I can do is drop it on the ground. I cant seem to drop it while swimming either. Am I missing something?

If you drop it on the ground and lift it, there's a very annoyingly small area on the shore where it'll let you place the coracle that is considered "water". Same goes for rowboats/dugouts.

Annoying to do though.

You can ctrl-click it in your inventory backpack slot while in water to drop it
