Does a village need a lawspeaker? I live with my friend, and we both died recently, so there is no lawspeaker now. We both have full permissions, so we could oath our new characters. Is there any risk to continue without anybody taking the lawspeaker role?

Lawspeaker is a special position that always has all rights, regardless of the checkmarks. While a normal villager with 'manage permissions' is able to permanently remove this from himself (and be unable to turn it on again, from the moment it's removed) the lawspeaker can always change the rules - his word is law.

Keep in mind that every village member can claim a vacant lawspeaker role.

Yes. Cave in damage is based on level. It'll always KO you, but if you go deep enough, it'll kill a 10 CON miner. That's not even discussing what you'll run into while you're mining like boreworms and trolls. You want as much CON as STR in my opinion, and a very generous helping of AGI just so you can get your ass out of there if something does spawn.

Lawspeaker is only special as it always has all permissions (irrelevant of the group he's in or what permissions are set on it).

You can give the ability to oath members to any group, then assign members to it. Keep in mind that white is everyone.

It only matters which table You use to eat (fork icon), not from which container.
