No, you can extend only downward and sideways.

Pink and yellow circles

What's with the pink and yellow circles bouncing around in my kiln smoke? Do they indicate something or are they just pretty?

it's a bug in the particle engine. It's mostly benign and won't affect your game play experience.

Noticed earlier in the thread that credos increase abilities at their base instead of as a bonus - what would people recommend as a minimum perception/exploration before going into the forager credo? I've currently got 20/15 and are thinking that 25/25 would be a good place to finish the questline, but I've only been playing a week so I don't know if that's too early.

Given what can show up, 40/40, and even then you're probably going to have to skip a couple because you can't see the item yet. People have different values on it. I don't mind skipping a few quests if foraging is my first as it's only 10 total quests and skipping a few here and there isn't that hurtful.

Do note that it's a matter of personal preference and risk aversion. Most of our experience players start credos as soon as they can get the 10k LP as it's quickly cheaper than raising 10 points in whichever skill gets the +10. However, that does require experience. My recommendation is for new players that want to avoid frustrations from a game mechanic. Just know that with the foraging, many things are going to be seasonal anyway, and that's just another layer of risk.

Is there a way to close a craft window (and similar windows that don't just close when you're finished) without mouse-clicking on the TINY x in the upper right corner? I can barely see the thing, and have trouble getting my mouse arrow in the right spot. I haven't been able to identify a keyboard stroke. Maybe the x can be made a teensy bit bigger? For us old folks?
