Anyone know if you can find Royal Toadstool in fen or does it have to be a legit swamp? RoB page for the Toadstool has "Swamp" under terrain, but the page for Fen says it has toadstools as a resource.

A 'Fen' is a type of swamp or marshland, and yes, you can find toadstools there.

I have never do this, but it seem to me that maybe it is matter of timing properly.

I have not seen midge yet, and I have been near swamp. Maybe it is seasonal?

Depends on your playstyle. If you're playing all the time and are drowning in food, and getting to higher-stats sooner is more important, then chow down.

If you play less often, and aren't awash in foodstuffs, then being more strategic/efficient is probably the better move. It means slower stat gains, but far less resources spent doing so.

It's an impact/efficiency tradeoff, basically.

Poor Man's Gloves only reduce the chance to get Quilled and Crab Carressed. They do fully negate any chances of getting Nettle Burns as far as i can tell.
