You're going to have a village over your claim in 24 hours or some given period of time if they want to extend over you. If you have the older claim, they can't remove you, but you'll be unable to extend your claim if then fully claim over your own borders unless you join the village and get permissions.

My claim is older than Village claim, but younger than p.claim the village was built on. Will they still be unable to extend over my claim?

For the purpose of revoking your claim, the village claim is all that matters. They can claim over you with the village unless you put up your own village first. Depending on how close you are, that may well be too late as there has to be so much space between two different village borders.

Anyone else having trouble finding anything but the same 6 or so biomes this world? Red plains, root bosk, grass, bounty acre, leaf patch, and beech grove if I'm lucky. Last world didn't feel this limited.

The "leaves" of coniferous trees are called needles because of their shape. It's dried leaves of spruce I'd guess.
