You can log back in unless the spot where you logged out had been blocked. If that is the case, you're forced to spawn in the wilderness and seem to get a new hearthfire too.

IMPORTANT: Devs have taken action to discourage abusing this system. You will start to receive "Hearth Burn" wound if wilderness spawn too much. I'm not sure how it works but I assume the first couple of times you get no wound at all and then you get increasing wounds.

So, If someone destroy my hearth fire and place an object in the same place, my village is gone? I need to walk over 10hours to get back there (if i know direction) from a random point on the map?

If they place something where you logged OFF at then yes, you have to teleport to a random location.

If i log off in a bed, can someone destroy the bed (with me sleeping inside) and place an item in the same place?

They can pick up the bed itself, removing You from it.

Is there a way for me to contribute to the claiming of a friend? We`re trying to claim an area around our cabin, but he doesnt have enough LP, I do. How can I help him in doing so?

You cannot. Personal claims can be managed only by one man at one time. Village claims remedy this; they are expanded by building Village Banners rather than spending LP, and anyone can build them if the Lawspeaker (leader or manager of the village) grants them such privileges.
Total misplay.

Does the amount of cave dust you get when mining out a tile indicate the total number of trigger tiles in the 8 squares around it, or only the number of untriggered trigger tiles? I had assumed the former, but after mining through a 0.01 tile (that did not indicate a prior trigger tile) followed by a no-dust tile (i.e., a trigger tile) under a mine support followed by a 0.01 tile, I had figured the next tile was safe, but I was unexpectedly hit by a cave-in. Did I mess up my minesweeper at some point or did the already triggered trigger tile no longer count towards the dust total?

Trigger tiles, regardless of whether or not they are currently filled with rock or not. They can re-trigger if a cave in fills the tile.

This is how I understand it, but with cavesweeper are you sure you didn't make a mistake? Happens to the best of us.
