Stone roads. I think they have higher soak than wood signposts and they use 5 stone per post instead of using wood blocks. Will know when my milestones are 3 days old.
They also support up to 4 roads each instead of 1, which cuts down on clutter since posts can't be too close to one another and can actually block the path of one another.
Stone posts also have a further range between each other than wood posts, allowing for you to hop over larger bodies of water, swamps, and cliffs without pathing around them.

what is the skill needed for meat grinders?
what is the material needed to make ceramic & metal meat grinders?
are metal meat grinders still able to make everything ceramic can plus a few more?

There are no ceramic grinders. You need metal working, hard metal, and sausage making. I'm guessing you discovered tin or copper and you're trying to make a meat grinder. You'll need iron, bronze, wrought, or steel.

i have cast iron, and sausage making. Do i need basic mechanics?

Does the quality of a finery forge contribute to bloom quality? or is bloom quality equal to cast iron quality?

the real question being, can I build a finery forge with bad quality bricks without worrying about production quality
