Also, FINALLY! A usage for the inventory space of the fireplace..

My thoughts exactly. And I just timed it, it's about 18 minutes for all the pitroast items.

We discussed this one earlier, and the conclusion was that it might depend on heat. A fire present might speed it up. We needed to test further.

I'm not too sure about that. The cooking time is the exact same as baking recipes. This is very noticeable when baking them in an oven; it also takes 4 branches and has the exact same amount of overcookedness as normal oven recipes.

Experimenting with Masonry

You can dig up quality stones from the ground now, seems to be hardcapped by skill, unaffected by tool, best way to get quality stone early now it seems.

Mined stone and ore seems to be softcapped by your tool and your skill, at skill 20, with a quality 11 stone axe, I haven't gotten stones better then ~13

Clay is capped by skill, unaffected by shovel quality, this makes sense since you can dig without a shovel

Actually, I think it's hardcapped by the skill first, and then softcapped by the tool. At least that fits very well with my results. BTW, you can check the original (not capped) ore/mineral q by the cave dust q.

Eh. Looks like it's the same no matter what. I started with no heat, and it took a couple of ticks before mine started cooking. Now that it is cooking, it's going at the same rate as usual.

Anywhere on the ground? Does masonry effect the chance or just the quality?
