Anyone got any tips for fishing poles. It makes no sense to me and I keep losing my lures. Left Right Up Down what?!

(rant) man, bait fishing is probably the worst/unfun part of this game. And I cant seem to figure out lure fishing at all. (end rant)

I would just recommend not using it if you don't want to dedicate the time to writing down all of the cycles.

While fishing, if you press a certain button, under a certain dialogue you can end with a repeating cycle where you just press the same order of buttons over and over again.

As an example, try a woodfish. If you get water splashes, hit left. If it stays splashes, repeat left over and over. If it goes from splashes to leaps through the air/sweat trickles on your brow, hit up. It'll go back to splashes if you have the right type of fish on the hook. Repeat the left -> up until you get a fish.

Right click the wizard, name yourself. Right click the fire.

i just noticed your guide. they should really change the starting zone. i think that at one point i had right-clicked the fire before giving myself a name so i didnt bother trying again but Im sure i did try right-clicking a few times. this time i was standing in the middle of the fire when i right-clicked and it worked

yesterday i've dropped a boar hide in my house (like carpet), today is disappear.
also i notice that over my table usually disappear some things...
there is some type of decay in house?
